I was really excited to see Shania again, I had last seen her in London in July so I knew I would be in for a great night. Also knowing that I had decent seats for a change excited me too. I got down to the theatre early and saw a number of the tour buses arrive, they are big suckers.  Unfortunately I did not run into Shania. I was able to watch some of the sound check from the street, that was fun. Later I saw Allison Cornell outside, and when the opportunity arouse I introduced myself to her, she was wonderful and warm and we chatted for a little while, I then left her alone.

The show was exciting and the crowd really got into it, Shania wore the Leopard all one outfit and then it was followed by the silver hot pants then the pink one. They all looked fabulous on her. The show was the same as the others with the same song run sheet, but it was wonderful to hear all the songs again, I am sure that she and the band are tired of playing them after 168 odd shows. I think Shania is just itching to get her new material recorded.

As always she had interaction with the fans, a couple of girls got up on stage and sang all of Any Man of Mine, and Shania was very impressed by this. She then asked two people with glow sticks up in the nose bleeds to come on down, well once they did, they advised her that they had done this last time she was in town. She made some comment that she is gonna have to change her strategy for picking people.

When she introduced the band she said that it was Allison's Birthday,so we all sang to her, and Shania made comment that Allison had been with her longer than anyone else. I thought that was a nice thing to say. I was not able to get close enough to meet her this time, but I got some wonderful photos, which BMac should have by now. I was lucky enough to go see Shania in Richmond on the 29th, so I was not so sad about the MCI show being over. But, I could listen to her sing all night and never get tire of it. Shania is a wonderful person first and a brilliant performer second.
