We left here (VA) Friday morning & got to Greensboro that evening.
It took about 6 hours or so to get there. We went ahead & left early
& just stayed there Friday night as well as Saturday.
Anyways we got there late & went & got a motel room called
& had a pizza delivered & went to sleep. The next day before the
show my mom & I went to the mall not far from the hotel called Four
Seasons. Man that was the biggest mall I have ever seen! The mall thats
the nearest to us doesn't even come close to being that huge!
We went in Eckerds & I got the little promo cards with Shania on
them & the salespaper from the new Revlon Crystal Reflections line.
My mom talked the manager into giving me one of the big posters!!!!!!!
I was thrilled!!!!!! I couldn't believe it!!!!! I never thought she really
would let me have it!!!
We were at the mall for quite awhile & it was about 4:00 when we
called a cab & they said they'd be there in 30 mins. Yea right! They
never showed! My mom kept trying to call them & finally she called
another one & a cad finally got there at about 5:30. By the way if
your ever in Greensboro , NC don't use Blue Bird cabs!
Finally we got back to the room to change & get ready for the show!
It took us maybe 30 mins & then we called the cab again this time we
called United Yellow cab. I was so afraid I'd be late after what had already
happend at the mall!! The cab got there around 6:45 or 6:50. I still was
afraid of being late! I mean it was only a little ways to the venue but
I'm pretty paranoid so I was still about to have a fit!
We got there with almost an hour to spare. I was ever so glad when
I saw the venue! I calmed down some then. When we got in my mom got me
the two new Shania shirts, the new tour poster & a shirt of Shane (He
is so cute!!!!!!).
Well after that we had to go to the bathroom so my mom could get out
the camera that she had hidden he he he. Then we got a bottle of water
& went & found our seats which were 4th row right in front of the
catwalk on the right side. I almost flipped when I saw she had the catwalk
again!!! Offcourse the tickets costed $200 each but hey they were worth
it in my book!
At 8:00 Shane came out he was really great & cute :)* he did I
guess around a 30 min or so set & it was great! He did mostly all his
songs. Wow what moves he does on stage! Man can he move!!!! He was *****HOT*****.
Thoose jeans , thoose eyes , that voice , oh sorry better not go no farther
he he. I think he is just such a cutie though!
After he left the stage I asked the guard if he'd be signing autographs
& he said yes go to section 103 so I got my cd cover , told my mom
where I was going & took off. I got to section 103 & they pointed
me in the direction of one of the merchandise set ups. There he was!!!
He is even sexier up close *Sighs* *L*!
Shane was oh so sweet! I told him how much I had been wanting to meet
him & all & look what he signed on my cd! By the way song #3 is
"I Think Your Beautiful"!!!
He is by far the sweetest male artist I have met & the cutest :)*
He hugged me to & one of the pics of me & him was took when we
were right next to each other! *Sighs* Just look below!
After that I ran back to my seat fast because Shania was coming out!
She had a diff. set list arrangement which I thought was cool.
She came out wearing the leopard jumpsuit & she looked great. When
she came to the end of the catwalk I was at she signed my cd cover I thought
no way could it get any better but boy was I wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok on the left side of the catwalk this woman had brought this little
girl up & they'd raised $3,000 for Kid's Cafe the woman said the little
girl wanted to sing with Shania. When I saw Shania bend down & start
talking with her I knew this was my chance.
I jumped out of my seat (My mom thought I was losing it *L*) I ran
to the other end of the catwalk & stood there when the kid sung with
her when she got down I tapped Shania on the arm while she was there &
I told her this was my 19th birthday present & the 6th concert &
what Mercury did in Louisville when I first meet her backstage about how
they said they'd send a photo of her & I & they never did &
I asked her if I could please get a picture of us together. Shania told
Allison to get the polaroid & I was in shock I couldn't believe this
was happening!!
Allison got the camera & took a picture then Shania signed it &
handed it to me I was shaking like a leaf!!!!!!!! I was so nervous!!!!!!!!
I thanked her & then she walked away I went literally jumping to my
seat *LOL* I was a sight *LOL* I was so excited!!! She also wished me a
happy birthday!
I got back to my seat & the people behind me was giving me a thumbs
up sign & I was just about to go nuts!!!! I was shaking so bad. I guess
people might have thought I was nuts but I could care less I can only imagine
what they'd think of my 2 "Shania-Ville" (As I call them) rooms *L*.
The rest of the show was great I was so flipped out that I was going
nuts all through it. She changed into the silver shorts & shirt like
on the upcoming Dallas special for her second outfit & she came around
on the board that they carry her on.
Her third change was the pink outfit like on the upcoming Dallas show.
For the final song she did (If Your Not In It For Love)" I'm Outta Here"
& all sorts of multi colered paper fell from the ceiling it was so
cool kinda like New Years a bit early!!!!!
